lumaquiet

Privacy policy · Effective October 5, 2026

Your listening stays with you.

Lumaquiet makes its sound on your iPhone. We don't run an account system, ads, analytics or tracking, and we don't collect personal data through the app.

1. Who we are

Lumaquiet is an iPhone app made by Mir Ghulam Hyder Talpur ("we"). This policy covers the app and this website. Questions: storneaapp@gmail.com.

2. What the app collects

Nothing that leaves your device. There's no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics or tracking software, and no Lumaquiet server. Music and nature sounds are generated on your iPhone.

3. What stays on your device

Your preferences (mode, sound, mix levels, timer, haptics), the sounds you save, and your onboarding answers are stored locally so the app can remember them. They may be included in your iCloud or computer backups, depending on your iOS settings. You can delete your saved sounds and history in Settings → Delete saved sounds and history, or remove everything by deleting the app.

4. Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple gives developers aggregated, non-identifying sales reports. Apple's handling of your data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Permissions

Lumaquiet doesn't request access to your microphone, location, contacts, photos, health data or tracking. Research links in the app open external websites (such as doi.org) only when you tap them; those sites have their own policies.

6. Support and diagnostics

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to reply. If you choose Share diagnostic summary in the app, you decide where it goes; it contains only the app version, iOS version and device model.

7. This website

This site is hosted by Netlify, which may process standard server logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site. The site uses no cookies, analytics or trackers.

8. Children

Lumaquiet isn't directed at children under 13, and it doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

9. Your rights and changes

Because we don't hold personal data from the app, there's usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete; your on-device data is under your control. If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
