Terms of use ยท Effective October 5, 2026
Terms, plainly.
These terms apply to Lumaquiet together with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
1. The agreement
By using Lumaquiet you agree to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) and to these terms. If they conflict, the EULA governs.
2. Subscriptions
Lumaquiet needs an active subscription or free trial to play. Annual and monthly plans are available; the price and period shown on the subscription screen are those supplied by the App Store for your country.
- New subscribers to the annual plan may get a 7-day free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the annual subscription starts and is charged.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings. If you cancel during the free trial, you won't be charged. Canceling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current period.
- Apple handles billing and refunds. Restore purchases with the same Apple Account.
3. Wellbeing, not medicine
Lumaquiet is for relaxation, focus and general wellbeing. It isn't a medical device and doesn't diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. The research we cite shaped how the sounds are designed; Lumaquiet's own music hasn't been clinically tested. Talk to a professional about any health concern.
Keep the volume at a comfortable, safe level. Don't use sleep or breathing sounds while driving or doing anything that needs your full attention. Binaural sounds need headphones.
4. Your use
Lumaquiet is licensed for your personal, non-commercial use. Don't copy, resell or redistribute the app or its sounds, or try to reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
5. Changes and availability
We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Features may change as the app improves.
6. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Lumaquiet is provided "as is", and our liability is limited as described in the EULA. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
